Animal Communication - Am I a pet psychic?
Sometimes it is confusing to understand metaphysical or extra-sensory terminology. So in this article we will explore what an animal communicator is. You may have a combination of extra-sensory abilities that aid you in animal communication, lets discover about them now.
Psychic: The term psychic is used to describe someone who can foresee the future, help with future issues and future life events. They often are contacted by others to help them make a choice they may need to make. People who only have psychic abilities cannot speak to spirits from other realms or in other dimensions.
Medium: If you are a medium you can communicate with beings or spirits from other realms or in other dimensions. A medium can speak or communicate with those crossed over, Spirit guides and Angels.
Psychic Medium: This is a combination of the above abilities. This person can foresee the future and communicate with beings or spirits from other realms or in other dimensions.
Animal Communicator: This is a person who can communicate with all animals using telepathy and other extra-sensory methods; using their extra-sensory gifts, they are able to send and receive messages in order to communicate with animals.
What Is Animal Communication?
Animal communication is a transference of thoughts, pictures, emotions and feelings between a sender and receiver, also known as telepathy. Telepathic information or messages can include brief snapshot images that flash into your awareness or can be like a movie that plays onto your psychic vision or "psychic screen" as I call it. During a communication session, a message may be received by paracognition (instant knowledge), clairaudience (hearing with the "spirit ear"), clairvoyance (seeing with "spirit vision"). Spirit vision may include images, colors, symbols, numbers, or letters. Clairsentience (feeling) which can include variations of energy through temperature, vibration and tingling for example. All of these types of extrasensory information make up what I call "spirit language." I believe the animals are experts at paracognition, in that they can download anyone's "spirit language" and use it to communicate very exact messages for interpretation.
So by the above information I am a Medium and Animal Communicator with some less intuned skills of foretelling the future! I also have all of the "clair" senses I use to help communicate with animals and crossed over loved ones (including cross over animals) I believe this is for a reason that I am not highly skilled at foreseeing future events and that is okay wiht me; I abide by that and use all of my extra-sensory abilities to help as many people and animals as possible.
The reason I wrote this article to share is that I am preparing to "go public" in my community as an animal communicator. I am having an animal communication booth at an animal dog walk event, which is highly attended by our local community. I realized I needed to have a better definition of my skills to better explain to people who have questions. I decided to share this in our group, because many of you may have the same issue now or in the near future.

Equine/Horse Reiki is becoming more popular and recognised for the benefits it can provide horses, as well as stable managers and owners!
Reiki is a form of hands on healing which works to bring balance to the horse’s energy field and promotes healing on many levels: Physical, Emotional, Mental and Spiritual.
Reiki can help if your horse is suffering from:
~Slow to rehabilitate from illness or injury
~Low performance level
~Low energy levels
~Tight muscles/Restricted movement
Horses respond incredibly well to Reiki energy which is natural, gentle and holistic. Reiki is completely safe, has no side effects and can be used on any animal, regardless of age or breed. Reiki is a complement to vetrinary medicine, not a substitution.

Independent research by Dr Robert Becker and Dr John Zimmerman during the 1980's investigated what happens whilst people practice therapies like Reiki. They found that not only do the brain wave patterns of practitioner and receiver become synchronised in the alpha state, characteristic of deep relaxation and meditation, but they pulse in unison with the earth's magnetic field, known as the Schuman Resonance. During these moments, the biomagnetic field of the practitioners' hands is at least 1000 times greater than normal, and not as a result of internal body current. Toni Bunnell (1997) suggests that the linking of energy fields between practitioner and earth allows the practitioner to draw on the 'infinite energy source' or 'universal energy field' via the Schuman Resonance. Prof Paul Davies and Dr John Gribben in The Matter Myth (1991), discuss the quantum physics view of a 'living universe' in which everything is connected in a 'living web of interdependence'. All of this supports the subjective experience of 'oneness' and 'expanded consciousness' related by those who regularly receive or self-treat with Reiki.
Zimmerman (1990) in the USA and Seto (1992) in Japan further investigated the large pulsating biomagnetic field that is emitted from the hands of energy practitioners whilst they work. They discovered that the pulses are in the same frequencies as brain waves, and sweep up and down from 0.3 - 30 Hz, focusing mostly in 7 - 8 Hz , alpha state. Independent medical research has shown that this range of frequencies will stimulate healing in the body, with specific frequencies being suitable for different tissues. For example, 2 Hz encourages nerve regeneration, 7 Hz bone growth, 10Hz ligament mending, and 15 Hz capillary formation. Physiotherapy equipment based on these principles has been designed to aid soft tissue regeneration, and ultra sound technology is commonly used to clear clogged arteries and disintegrate kidney stones. Also, it has been known for many years that placing an electrical coil around a fracture that refuses to mend will stimulate bone growth and repair.
Becker explains that ‘brain waves’ are not confined to the brain, but travel throughout the body via the perineural system, the sheaths of connective tissue surrounding all nerves. During a treatment, these waves begin as relatively weak pulses in the thalamus of the practitioner’s brain, and gather cumulative strength as they flow to the peripheral nerves of the body, including the hands. The same effect is mirrored in the person receiving treatment, and Becker suggests that it is this system, more than any other, that regulates injury repair and system rebalance. This highlights one of the special features of Reiki (and similar therapies), that both practitioner and client receive the benefits of a treatment, which makes it very efficient.
It is interesting to note that Dr Becker carried out his study on a world-wide array of cross-cultural subjects, and no matter what their belief systems or customs, or how opposed to each other their customs were, all tested the same. Part of Reiki's growing popularity is that it does not impose a set of beliefs, and can therefore be used by people of any background and faith, or none at all. This neutrality makes it particularly appropriate to a medical or prison setting.
In the "Reiki I and II Manual", Usui Reiki Ryoho, it is stated that, "The chakras are focused energetic life forces that exist within our body and auric field as swirling masses of energy. The chakras help to distribute energy for our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual functions. The seven major chakras correlate with the major nerve plexuses and are points of greater electromagnetic activity with the auric field."
Laying on of stones is a technique using crystals and gemstones placed on the body for healing. This methods works vey well with and compliments Reiki sessions. There are several purposes for using gemstones/crystals in Reiki sessions: Releasing and clearing negative energy, emotional healing, balancing and clearing the chakras (the bodies energy centers), and healing the aura. In this type of session, a gemstone is placed over each of the 7 major chakras in the body and the Reiki session takes place as normal, with the therapist's hands being placed directly over each gemstone/crystal.
